Steven Weaver
President / Certified Lead Inspector
Steven Weaver started Adonai Consultants Inc. in 2001 after being in the elevator industry for over 20 years. Steven's philosophy of honest and strict adherence to elevator inspection code to protect the passengers of vertical transportation equipment and those responsible for its installation and maintenance has led Adonai to become a well-respected name in the elevator business community.
Steven entered the elevator industry as a Mechanic's Helper in 1981 when he joined IUEC Local #10. That same year, Steven was accepted into the National Elevator Industry Educational Program where he went on to receive his Elevator Mechanic's License. Steven worked as an Elevator Mechanic through Local #10 for twelve years installing low and high rise vertical transportation equipment and moving walks in the construction industry.
In 1993, Steven left the construction industry and joined the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) in Washington, DC where he served as Lead Inspector until being promoted to Chief Inspector. Steven received his QEI Certification in 1996. Steven left DCRA to join the United States Department of Agriculture for a two year tenure as their in-house Vertical Transportation Equipment Inspector and Quality Control Specialist. During this time, Steven received his NAESA Certification, QEI Certification and BOCA International Training Program Certification.

Joseph Comproni III
Certified Inspector & Consultant
Joseph has been with Adonai Consultants for 3 years. As an elevator inspector and consultant, Joseph handles inspections and ensures code compliance is met with all elevators, escalators, moving walks, dumbwaiters and handicapped lifts. This includes finals, alterations, annual inspections, five year full load and fire service testing required by code. He also helps clients with questions about code compliance involving the construction of new units.
Joseph enjoys helping clients prepare for what tomorrow brings. He believes there is always something new to learn everyday, whether it's within the code books or on a construction site that has new elevator equipment.
Before Joseph became an inspector, he spent five years with Otis Elevator working in the new construction department constructing both traction and hydraulic elevators. Joseph's other qualifications include four years of NEIP training while in the elevator trade and a QEI certification from NAESA.
George R. Haynesworth
Certified Inspector
George has worked for Adonai Consultants for 10 years. As an elevator inspector, George performs inspections and ensures code compliance is met with all vertical equipment. This includes finals, alterations, annual and semi-annual inspections, five year full load and fire service testing required for existing, new and modernized elevators, dumbwaiters, escalators, moving walks, material lifts, platform lifts and wheelchair lifts.
Prior to his work at Adonai Consultants, George was employed by the General Services Administration (GSA) for 25 years as an Elevator Mechanic, Elevator Mechanic Foreman and Elevator Inspector from 1966 through 1991. He was rehired in 1992 with Construction Control Company, as a contractor for GSA Projects on elevator modernization. He served as a Project Manager and OSHA inspector until 2004.
Roger E. Moreland
Certified Inspector
Roger joined the team at Adonai Consultants in 2013. As an elevator inspecto, Roger performs inspections and ensures code compliance is met with all vertical equipment. This includes finals, alterations, annual and semi-annual inspections, five year full load and fire service testing required for existing, new and modernized elevators, dumbwaiters, escalators, moving walks, material lifts, platform lifts and wheelchair lifts.
Prior to working for Adonai Consultants, Roger worked in Elevator Local 10 for 16 years. For the past 26 years he's worked as an Elevator Inspector for Arlington County, the last 14 years as a Chief Elevator Inspector.
Roger has over 42 years of experience in the elevator industry.
Beverly Waldron
Permit and certificate expeditor
Beverly has worked for Adonai Consultants for the past 3 years. As an expeditor, Beverly obtains certificates of inspection, elevator permits and basic business licenses for clients. She also takes elevator plans to DCRA for review and approval. She most enjoys her interactions with staff and clients.
Prior to her work at Adonai Consultants, Beverly worked for DCRA for 30 years in the Permit Issuance Branch and the Inspection Scheduling Unit.
